IHK Gesellschaft für Informationsverarbeitung mbH
As an efficient interface between stakeholders and development, we analyse complex requirements, translate them into clear specifications and ensure smooth communication. By working closely together, we ensure that the requirements are implemented effectively and that the end product meets expectations. Our role as business analysts enables us to develop optimised solutions that meet business requirements.

IHK Gesellschaft für Informationsverarbeitung mbH (IHK-GfI), based in Dortmund, Germany, is a service provider in all IT matters for all chambers of industry and commerce throughout Germany. We support the IHK-GfI in business analysis in a team that is responsible for digital customer communication. Specifically, we record requirements, specify them technically and professionally and prepare them in such a way that the developers can start their work immediately (including interface concept and screen design).
From the requirement to going live
After implementation, we are jointly responsible for quality assurance and accompany the software through to productive use by the chambers. It is particularly challenging to take into account and harmonise the various interests of the individual chambers, their end customers and the technical framework conditions. In this cooperation, work is carried out in an agile team organised according to Scrum and supported by the tools Confluence and Jira as well as Miro and Whimsical.
